I have a feeling he might move across the same number of explorable areas, each time, from regent valley to travelers vale was a move of 5/6 areas depending whether you count regent valley or not.

So he may be in North Kryta province by my assumption, probably at the ascalon settlement or the exit to Nebo terrace.

If we take his 3 known appearances into account, it seems that he follows storyline and appears once per region.

So his appearances will probably be be:
Kryta
Maguuna Jungle
Crystal Desert
Southern Shiverpeaks
Ring Of Fire ...
And then probably the same for Factions/NF/Eotn.

Just so you know. Linsey Murdock has stated that there are only a small number of material requirements... so you might just have to do PvE to get the gifts.

According to wiki he was supposed to move about 40 mins ago, but last week he didnt move until 5pm GMT ,thats when the zquest updates in about 8 hours 20 mins from now =/
